Located at 11805 Coastal Highway in Ocean City, Maryland, The Buzzed Word is a place for lovers of wine and books.  

A place where books meet wine, The Buzzed Word is a bookstore, retail wine store, and wine bar all in one. Here, you can find new titles of all genres as well as the top picks of natural wine. 

First opened in 2021 by writer and sommelier Mickie Meinhardt, this unique place in Ocean City has become a community spot where locals and visitors enjoy a cozy place to sip, savor, and share diverse and exciting new books and wines from small producers. 

The place also has a wine and book club and holds events like Hallo-wine, tasting classes, and more! 

The Buzzed Word is proud to be a women-owned space as well as an equitable bookshop and an LGBTQIA+ space.
